Welcome to my Pastel People!
Pastel People is my street photo project about people in Sweden and the way they live their everyday lives. Since moving here, I’ve been fascinated by how Swedes understand and live by the word lagom. It’s hard to translate, but it means something like “just the right amount.” Not too much, not too little; finding balance and harmony in life.
There is something special in how people here live with nature and with each other. I see it in the way they take time for small things, how they respect space, and how they seem comfortable with silence.
It’s a slower, softer way of being.
