I eventually purchased a small 30-square-meter flat in the 8th district of Budapest in a really old building. This building was situated in one of Budapest’s worst districts. This district is a microcosm of the city’s diverse landscape. Each person living in my building had their own unique story. It was a personal project for me to photograph the people who called this “gang” neighborhood home.
